Rice with Carrots

Ingredients

  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of ghee
  • 2 diced large onion
  • 2 shredded large carrots
  • 1 1/2 cup of white rice
  • 4 1/2 cups of water

Directions

  1. Smash the garlic and salt together until paste forms. Save it for later
  2. Put the ghee and onion in a pan to fry, until the onion is transparent
  3. Then add the garlic paste and the carrots, and braise the mixture
  4. Wait until the carrots are releasing color, then add the rice
  5. Add the water and cook the mixture until the rice is soft
  6. Voila!
