Ingredients

  • 2 diced chicken breasts
  • Juice from one lime
  • Salt and pepper as needed
  • 2 tablespoon of butter
  • 3 cloves of garlic sliced in small pieces
  • 1 diced large onion
  • 1 diced large tomato
  • 3/4 of a large box of mushrooms, in slices
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard powder
  • 1 box of heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon of flour

Directions

  1. Smash the lime juice on the chicken. Add salt and pepper as needed, and save it for later.
  2. In a large pan add the butter and braise the garlic and onion until it is transparent
  3. Now add the tomatoes and mushrooms, braising at low heat
  4. In another pan put the olive oil and mustard, and add the chicken to fry until it is golden
  5. Then move the chicken to the large pan with the braise
  6. Take it at medium heat for about 15 minutes until the broth is thicker, then add the heavy cream
  7. When the mixture is boiling reduce to low heat and take 3 tablespoon of the broth, add the flour and mix until well blended
  8. Put the mixture back to the large pan (which now has a thicker broth)
  9. Serve with white rice. Voila!
