
Ingredients
- 2 diced chicken breasts
- Juice from one lime
- Salt and pepper as needed
- 2 tablespoon of butter
- 3 cloves of garlic sliced in small pieces
- 1 diced large onion
- 1 diced large tomato
- 3/4 of a large box of mushrooms, in slices
- 2 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of mustard powder
- 1 box of heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon of flour
Directions
- Smash the lime juice on the chicken. Add salt and pepper as needed, and save it for later.
- In a large pan add the butter and braise the garlic and onion until it is transparent
- Now add the tomatoes and mushrooms, braising at low heat
- In another pan put the olive oil and mustard, and add the chicken to fry until it is golden
- Then move the chicken to the large pan with the braise
- Take it at medium heat for about 15 minutes until the broth is thicker, then add the heavy cream
- When the mixture is boiling reduce to low heat and take 3 tablespoon of the broth, add the flour and mix until well blended
- Put the mixture back to the large pan (which now has a thicker broth)
- Serve with white rice. Voila!
